A recent article in One Green Planet highlights the question of why we would ever want to save animals through diet or direct action, but harm vastly more through political obligations and family policies that prioritize growth over liberation. More authors are now dealing with the subject, how debt owed to future generations can be used to reverse growth and benefit animals in the most effective ways, and the key role of funders who have benefitted from macro growth models at cost to the animals they love.
