Super excited to announce that a CAFO ban will be on the ballot this year in Sonoma County, California. This will be the first time any county in the US votes on whether to ban CAFOs, which is historic in its own right. And if it passes, it will spare millions of animals (there are about 24 CAFOs in Sonoma County, of which 75% are egg and "poultry" farms) and set the stage for future factory farm bans in California and the country.

This effort was organized under the Coalition to End Factory Farming, which is made up of DxE, Compassionate Bay, and FACES of Sonoma County, and includes 30+ other groups including sanctuaries, environmental groups, and small farmers. We are always looking for more partners, advice, feedback, etc... :)
