After many years of work with Melt Pizzas in Chile, we are happy to announce that they have publish a cage-free commitment in Chile to be completed by 2026.

Melt is a pizza branch from Chile founded in 2018. We have been working with them since 2019 for vegan options and connected them with cage free suppliers as Ecoterra, and with the help of the campaign of Sinergia Animal, we got a commitment from them to use only free cage productions eggs for 2026 in their pastry options, the only products that use eggs in their production.

This commitment comes after years of negotiations with Veg Fundation and the campaign of Sinergia Animal.

Scale: Two regions in the country. Melt Chile has 41 stores in the largest regions of the country: Metropolitan region and Valparaiso. 

Timeline: There have been approaches since March 2019, meetings in 2022 and 2023 by Veg Fundation. Conversations were push by the Sinergia Animal’s campaign since 2023.
